Os alimentos termogênicos são aqueles que quando passam pelo processo de digestão geram um gasto maior de energia, devido as suas propriedades, e por isso aceleram o metabolismo e de certa forma contribuem com o emagrecimento.
Porém é importante deixar claro que só consumir estes alimentos não vai adiantar, é preciso antes de mais nada ter uma alimentação adequada e praticar exercícios físicos.
Não existe uma recomendação estabelecida sobre a quantidade a ser ingerida desses alimentos, são apenas indicações. Outra coisa importante a ressaltar é que o consumo desses alimentos só deve acontecer se você não tiver nenhuma restrição médica.
Alimentos termogênicos
Pimenta
A pimenta vermelha (caiena) possui uma substância chamada capsiacina que de acordo com um estudo realizado, mostrou que o consumo frequente (3g por dia) pode aumentar o metabolismo em até 20%. Você pode utilizar essa quantidade para temperar salada e outros pratos.
Chá verde
O chá verde possui muitos benefícios ao organismo, entre eles a prevenção de doenças e colabora com bom funcionamento do trânsito intestinal, além de acelerar o funcionamento do metabolismo. Comece com 1 xícara de chá de cinco a dez minutos antes das refeições.
Gengibre
Assim como a pimenta, se for consumido frequentemente também pode aumentar 20% o metabolismo. Você pode mastigar um pedacinho por dia ou preparar um chá ou ainda incluir em sucos. O gengibre também é muito utilizado para enjôo.
Água gelada
Beber de 8 a 10 copos de água gelada por dia queima cerca de 200 calorias, pois é preciso elevar a temperatura da água gelada no organismo e isso gera uma energia maior.
Canela
A canela melhora o sistema imunológico e também tem poder termogênico. Você pode colocar uma pitada de canela no café ou em frutas. Por exemplo, que tal uma banana ou maçã no microondas com gotinhas de adoçante e canela?
É bom esclarecer que a ingestão exagerada destes alimentos pode ser prejudicial. Por isso é sempre importante consultar um nutricionista, que irá elaborar um cardápio individualizado, propondo a quantidade adequada de alimentos termogênicos que você poderá consumir.
